I've always been interested in 'Art' of many different medias, but of late have found my place in photography. It is amazing what the eye and mind can see when you take the time to look. Thanks to the help and teachings of a close friend I've begun to develop a love of Nature Photography. Our trip across this great country to Yellowknife NWT this summer has provided me with an abundance of subjects... I'm getting close to 'that' time of life when I will have many hours on my hands in which I will explore my passion more, hoping to travel a great deal and enjoy the sights of the many countries. With new eyes, I will see and hope to find images that excite my mind but also ones that I can share with others who will enjoy them as much as me. Digital has provided an ease of this art form, and the new cameras and old tricks available have made it much easier for my 'shaky hands.' I have been in a few art shows with the Huntsville Art Crowd and have been fortunate enough to sell images to people who see what I do. A nice confirmation of my art. As a board member I enjoy the time I get to spend with other artists, and also working with the different members of the club at shows...
